Excellent food and service! Really enjoyed the ambient atmosphere and the owner was incredibly attentive and kind! Will definitely be back again and the lamb kabobs we're delicious!
The food was amazing, the service was horrible. Fifty dollars for one meal and was rushed through the whole thing. Said I needed a minute to look.. They came back every sixty seconds till I just picked something so I could eat and leave.. They didn't even offer drinks till my date started yelling for them when the food was almost done. Was not finished when they were rushing us out...I did not even finish my meal. I only left a tip because I had no change and did not want to be there anymore.... NEVER AGAIN... Both my date and myself were extremely disappointed and will never go back. That was his first experience with Indian anything... And his last...
Playing with emotions of the customer who love Indian cuisine ..... n to " Fill there (restaurant) own pockets " is the guru mantra of this place.All the curry we ordered have the same taste as the base gravy remains unchanged..... food wasn't awesome and the management was despicable. They charged everything double stating whatever we ordered were from dinner platter and not for lunch which was no where mentioned on the menu cards nor while taking the order they informed us.Summary price is costly and food wasn't tasty at all to add on management is heinous........ I wouldn't recommend anyone to visit this place .
It was a fairly basic Indian restaurant in downtown Bangor. The flavors in the food were rich. However, my dish was not overly warm and I was disappointed with that. The staff were not overly engaging but did ask for your preferred level of spice.
We went there for dinner dinner after long day at Acadia. We entered the restaurant and waited there for 10 minutes. After some time one of the waiter came and told in rude way (my review should have been nicer if he is polite or told us he can't accommodate in nicer way) that he can't handle anymore customer as he has backlog of orders and please go away. Worst customer interaction. Never ever going back there. I wish I can give negative star or 0 star for this restaurant.
