Pretty good BBQ, quick service and clean facility. The pulled pork was lean and tender and sauce was decent. The potato salad was good, but the potatoes were a little large and tough. The slaw was really good!
Decent little barbecue place in Bangor. Good southern style food, all served on paper plates and metal trays! Nice down-to-earth people, even though there was a bit of a line, the gal taking our orders stop to explain the entire menu which was very helpful!
Delicious food and good prices. We will be back. Girl at the counter was very friendly and provided assistance by suggesting sides and telling us about their meals. I had the catfish with beans and apples. Girlfriend enjoyed her Mac and cheese and beans with her chicken.
This is "THE BEST" southern barbecue restaurant north of the Mason Dixion. Friendly staff, delicious food, what more could you ask....
Sometimes the food is brilliant but often times it is not. The mac and cheese side is really poorly made. The catfish was uncleaned and had not been soaked in milk...so it was chewy and tasted like mud water. They are frequently out of stock on their best menu items. The actual BBQ meats are great if they have them.
