I don't give a lot of 5 start reviews, but this place deserves one! I've been here 3 times and each time had a wonderful sushi meal. Having lived in the San Francisco bay area where there are a ton of fantastic Sushi restaurants, the Green Tea Restaurant holds it's own for sure! I always sit as the sushi bar and watch the chefs making the food and was impressed with their skills and sanitary work habits. Eating raw fish requires a lot of trust in the people preparing it - and I saw nothing that turned me off.For those that don't care for raw seafood, you are in luck! There are many cooked options on the menu so you won't feel left out.The Mai Tai's are yummy too. If you are in the Bangor area and want something a little different, a little more high-end, give this place a shot.
(All my reviews are over all) Absolutely great. You can sit in the normal dining area or these cozy extra rooms with privacy. The extra rooms are nice when you are on a date or need a meeting because it gives you less noise from what's around you. If you need to order something from that room, there's a switch that will light up a lantern on the outside advising the staff you need something. Staff is quick and helpful when it comes to what you need and what's on the menu. Definitely a good place for some fresh ingredients and calm atmosphere.

I had a horrible experience with a restaurant (Applebee's) prior to coming to yours, I made the decision to never step foot in Applebee's ever again. If I'm in this part of town to eat, I will eat here every time. You all are so great!!! Thank you again!!!
Hello to the people who are unsure of where to go for lunch or dinner or just a family meal or a party or..... Ill get to my point. The food there is amazing and I have been there every night. I perfer this restaurant then the others because the people there are so polite. The food speed is so fast too. There food is also maybe the most healthiest in Bangor, Me. Even if they are busy and is very slow its always worth the wait. Every time I go there I always want to head back tomorrow. I just wish there are more restaurants like Green Tea. Ive already brought my whole family there billion times already. After that one time they come and my so often, or should I say Green Tea? Lastly, I would like you guy to try the place out too. Us teens always say that healthy food are gross, now I disagree. I hope Green Tea can be all around the world, so I can have it every time every day every where. Everything I've ever ordered here was amazing. The outside is a neon party but the inside is fanciful and beautifully decorated. And the waitstaff is top quality. One of the best "hidden" gems in Bangor!
