Having served over 20 years in the Army and participated in 15-plus moves, I state unequivocally this is the best move we have ever experienced. Joseph and his team were incredible, the most professional group of young men I have witnessed in some time. My hat is off to Joseph and the entire Liberty team. Everyone at Liberty Bell was excellent to deal with, from Spencer and Sean in the consultation and walk-through, to the 4 young men assigned to do the move. They were a delight to be around, seemed happy and attentive to their work, and I had no qualms about my possessions. They all stayed focused and the move to storage was done in a very timely manner. I was actually their first move in the Bangor area. It was the second time I had hired a professional company to move all my stuff. They showed up and moved all my stuff very quickly. They were very polite and courteous and took good care of all my items. I would definitely use them again for any of my moving needs!!
Rather amazed at the good reviews here. I am moving from Columbia Falls, Maine, to Phppsburg, Maine and called this company for an estimate. When the company called back, its representative said, and I quote: It will be "at least a grand" before I said another word. I asked how he could give an estimate without know what I was moving, when and at what distance.. His reply, "well if you can't afford a grand no sense talking." How does this company get business, really! Actually, the move would have cost between $2,000 and $3,000, but I would never, ever use a company with representatives who speak as this man does. My recommendation, call Central Maine Moving who actually gives you estimates. Perhaps because I'm a New Yorker and don't understand fully the Maine lingo, but I'm still sitting here with my mouth open!
Liberty Bell did a fantastic job! My move included a 3rd floor walk up, fitness equipment and furniture that needed to be taken apart and reassembled and a secondary stop at a storage unit. The staff from Liberty Bell arrived early and were nothing but professional the entire time. All of my items were cared for as if they were their own. By far the best moving experience I have had and will be my first recommendation for family and friends!
